Shipping & Delivery
Where do you ship?
We currently ship to all contiguous United States and Washington D.C.
How long will my order take to arrive?
- Economy Shipping (5-10 business days) - Perfect for when you're channeling that capybara patience
- Standard Shipping (2-5 business days) - For when you need those good vibes a little faster
Processing time is typically 1-2 business days before your order ships.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and selected shipping method. We're always working to keep costs as reasonable as possible – because therapy shirts shouldn't break the bank.
Can I track my order?
Absolutely! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. Track that package like you track your therapy progress – with cautious optimism.
Orders & Returns
What's your return policy?
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us at support@thehappycapy.com. If your return is accepted, we'll send you a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted – we're organized like that, unlike our personal lives.
What about damages and issues?
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We'll evaluate the issue and make it right.
What items can't be returned?
We cannot accept returns on:
- Sale items (unless the item is defective or you have received the wront item)
- Gift cards
- Custom or personalized items
- Any items that fall under health and safety regulations
Can I exchange sizes?
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
How do refunds work?
We'll notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, contact us at support@thehappycapy.com.
I ordered the wrong size. Help! Don't panic – it happens to the best of us (probably while we were having an anxiety spiral). Contact us within 24 hours of placing your order, and we might be able to update it before it ships.
Products & Sizing
What are your shirts made of? Our tees are made from premium cotton blends designed for maximum comfort and durability. Soft enough for your worst mental health days, strong enough to withstand your best ones.
How do your sizes run? Our sizes run true to standard US sizing. When in doubt, check our size chart – it's more reliable than our ability to have our lives together.
Do you offer plus sizes? Yes! Mental health struggles don't discriminate by size, and neither do we. We offer sizes S-3XL because everyone deserves capybara-level comfort.
Will the designs fade or crack? Our designs are made to last longer than your current hyperfixation. We use high-quality printing methods, but like all good things, treat them with care (cold wash, hang dry when possible).
About The Brand
What's with the capybara obsession? Capybaras are basically the therapy animals of the internet – impossibly chill, universally loved, and somehow have their lives more together than most of us. They're the perfect mascot for normalizing mental health conversations with humor.
Why do you make fun about mental health struggles? We make light of the universal human experience of not having it all figured out. There's a difference between laughing at struggles and laughing with people who share them. Our humor comes from a place of understanding, not dismissal.

Care Instructions
How do I wash my Happy Capy gear?
- Machine wash cold (like your emotional availability)
- Tumble dry low or hang dry
- Iron inside-out if needed
- No bleach (we're trying to keep the good vibes intact)
The design is starting to look worn. Is this normal? Some gentle fading over time is normal and honestly gives it that "lived-in therapy shirt" vibe. If you're experiencing significant fading or cracking within the first few washes, reach out to us.
Account & Technical
Do I need to create an account to order? Nope! You can checkout as a guest faster than a capybara can achieve inner peace. But creating an account makes tracking orders and future purchases easier.
I forgot my password. Now what? Click "Forgot Password" on the login page. We'll send you a reset link faster than your anxiety can spiral about this minor inconvenience.
The website isn't working properly. Help! Try refreshing the page first (the digital equivalent of deep breathing). If that doesn't work, email us with details about what's happening and what device/browser you're using.

What are your customer service hours? We're here Monday-Friday, 9 AM-5 PM PST. Weekends are for recharging our customer service energy (and practicing capybara-level relaxation).
